Busified

April 30, 2008

I was about to be free, since I’ve already completed the written part of my report, and then more work came in.

We had our class meeting today where all my classmates gather and got some briefing on what to expect, what we have to do, how we have to do, and also what we should keep in mind for our final interview next Tuesday. More than others, what we were told was that we actually have more things to do than just a report for the interview. Now we have two new jobs added on our queue; ready a portfolio and make a name card. Both with shouldn’t be hard but still… WTH!!??? THERE’S ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT AND NOW YOU TELL US!? ah well…

Nothing else note worthy other than that for today.

Oh, here’s todays moving pictures:

Touhou Koumakyou (aka EoSD) parody of Rozen Maiden Ouvertüre’s ending.

EDIT: Gah, I just recalled! My Yandere Taizen is STILL not here yet! D: oh well, next batch I guess…

EDIT2: BLARGH, I just recalled again! They it went out of print that time! Seems like it never got reprinted… noooooooooooooooooooooooooo orz

Day of typing

April 29, 2008

Today mostly consist of work relating to my internship report. I can’t remember if I mentioned it before but I al ready did a huge portion of it a few weeks ago so I actually have a little left to be done on it before it is completed. However, I got carried away while typing it and ended up using the whole day turning it into a huge body of text about… I dunno… complains and sarcasm perhaps?

Anyway, I’m done with the typing part of it now, what’s left are only just to insert some images here and there and also the designing part of the job, the cover and stuff, print them, bind them and I’m done for this portion of the finals. What’s left after that are the PowerPoint slide show and the summarized materials to be presented during the interview next week.

I’ll have to return to college tomorrow for the final meeting before the actual interview. We are going to be discussing about how we are supposed to do our reports, how we are supposed to make the slide show and also what are we expected to do during the interview. Aaah, back to college… >__>

I also spent quite some time wandering around Nico and Youtube today. To the point that the router(or modem, not sure which but it’s one of them) got fried a couple of times a few moment ago. It’s working now, I hope it doesn’t get fried again while I’m asleep… Stagnant downloads + computer switched on = waste of electricity. I guess 3 years of constant running finally got to the router(or modem).

Anyhow, here’s something I found during my tube spree:

Now that’s what I call clever manipulation of existing still pictures and video clips. One certain scene will look very if not extremely familiar to many who visits this blog unless you have been living under a rock for the past 3 years.

More headache + reports

April 28, 2008

Had another major headache today. Which forced me to take more solid chemical.

I also somehow recalled that I have to go for the final meeting for the semester this coming Wednesday for the briefing about how we should do our report and what preparations should be done for our presentation/interview next Tuesday. And I have to finish my report before the briefing so I could have my coordinator give me feedbacks on where I can improve on. An advice with a visual support is always better than an advice with thin air.

Well, guess I’ll have to work on my report for these few days then. Not that there’s much left of it for me to add, but that doesn’t mean it’s completed, there are still a couple of more troublesome parts I have to deal with. Ah well.

Here’s something random (it’s so famous I don’t think anyone would need anyone else to show this to them, I think. Yeah, ran out of idea of what to put up. That and I’m sleepy):

A pretty good show. Just that it gives me this feeling that it might end up being another one of those never ending series though. Those are not hdd friendly, not for hdds owned by people with my kind of policy. Ok, just got news that it might be 51 episodes long. Well, anything is fine with me as long as it’s not going to be infinite episodes.

Crossed seas & scaled volcanoes for some books

April 27, 2008

Since I have already received the message from Kinokuniya last night regarding my never arriving final 4th book, there really aren’t anymore reason why I should wait any longer to get over there and retrieve my other 3 books. So that was exactly what I planned to do for today.

The trip there was quite obstacle ridden. Because I wasted a lot of time fooling around with Supreme Commander before I left, it was already quite late when I departed (around 3pm). The route I decided to take this time involves: A bus from Sunway Pyramid to the KTM station behind Carrefour, a KTM from there to KL Central, and then a Putra LRT from there to KLCC. I got a call from my parents when I was on the bus and she told me that we will be going out for dinner at night, meaning I have to be back by around 5 or 6pm. Now the entire trip from before I board the bus till around the time I get off the Putra LRT in KLCC would usually take about an hour at least. That’s an hour there and an hour back, I definitely won’t make it home by 5 since walking from the station in KLCC to Kinokuniya itself takes quite some time. Kinokuniya’s not right next to the station after all, it’s all the way at the other end of the world.

tut

April 26, 2008

I just got informed that one of the book I ordered got detained by the customs for “questionable content”. It also happened to be my most anticipated book among my batch of orders this time.

Things had been bad for my family so far this year and I don’t know if it’s just me but it does seem like the carnage has been seeping into my life too these past two months; things not going as planned, action backfires, good will gets flamed in return, etc. My desire to leave this place is at its peak right now after this disaster.

Seriously, that was one month waited for nothing. Gah, now I really have to visit Japan soon. That or I’ll just ask that certain guy to get it for me. Either way still means I won’t be reading that series anytime soon, aaaaaaaaaagggghhhhhhhh orz

Uuuuuuuuuuggggghhhhhh

April 25, 2008

Had another headache for most of today. What’s up with my brain these days? I’m having more and more headache nowadays. Bleh, probably not something that’ll kill me, I hope.

Anyway, fixed it with some self prescribed commercial drugs, again taken without professional authorization or supervision~

Rrrrrrrrrr, I’m feeling high~~~ wooooooooooooooo

Seriously now, headache sucks, consuming pure chemical sucks, this sucks. I need a new brain. Donors?

Oh, here’s the opening to a series from a few seasons ago, based on probably one of the best HRPG ever:

Unrecorded past

April 24, 2008

I’ve notice that every time I make an entry, or any log about any activities I may be doing, I tend to leave out some details that I forgot about or deem too troublesome to fully explain in self-contained text. And it is these details that evolve into something major later on, and when that happens, writing about them will be a tad harder as the roots of the events were not revealed beforehand back when it was relevant.

Actually, I’m looking at quite a lot of entry worthy materials flying by me every day but it is these lack of initial notes that makes mentioning them now a lot more inappropriate.

The consequences to these are usually just the loss of entry worthy material but if a more elaborate series of unfortunate circumstances were to be woven together, like what happened to my internship report, it could possibly doom a final semester result. I’ll refrain from going into details with that matter as I deem it too troublesome to fully explain in self-contained text.

Now why am I talking about this in this entry? Because I originally had something in mind to put here earlier but I’ve forgotten what it was. It’s probably another something that I’ll regret never mentioning in the future, yeah.
