Touhou Dogfight

It was mid 2009 when a user by the name of Impulse in Nico Nico Douga posted up the first partially completed video titled Touhou Dogfight; today, it is finally completed. Touhou Dogfight – for those who do not know – is an ultra stylized reenactment of what the final battle in Touhou 11 between Reimu and Utsuho would probably look like if it was in 3D.

Sure enough, 2 years is a wait sufficient to pull together a large number of anxious expecting fans; in just hours the video already got thrown up into the first place for Nico Nico Douga’s daily ranking. Nevertheless, Impulse didn’t fail to deliver, this is still some epic stuff. Best viewed in fullscreen and 720p.
