Another return

June 7, 2009

So I’m back from the two day stay in Ipoh. As I expected, nothing out of the ordinary happened during those two days. Spent my first day there (yesterday) playing Pangya on my PSP (yeah, still), same for today. Oh, and I finally managed to complete the story mode for Pangya today. It’s only a two day (1.5 to be exact) effort so that shows how much earlier this could have been done if only I wasn’t being distracted by anything else on the PC or the PS3. I will still be playing it since I have yet to complete the other modes and there are still tonnes of stuff to be unlocked.

Also, this video is relevant.

Another absence

June 5, 2009

゜_O

I’ll be leaving for Ipoh at around 6am tomorrow and be back sometime the day after that. One of my aunts just went through an operation at a hospital some time ago over there, this trip is to drop her a visit. It’s just a single night trip so there isn’t any time for anything else anyway so I most probably won’t be doing anything else interesting there… just like when I’m home… heh.

Absence

May 3, 2009

Long trip is loooong… and I am just reminded the hard way about not playing the PSP for too long in a constantly shaking vehicle on a longhauled journey. Since Labour Day last week, I was back at Ipoh with my family. We (or at least I) did not have any reason to go there though, just went because everyone else is going… and I spent the few days away doing nothing too special, which by the way consist of visiting and meeting most of my family members in Ipoh, attending to several dinners, playing with the new dog my cousin got, playing with another new dog at my other cousin’s place, playing with his PS3 while having the previous dog flying around in the background, playing lots of Pangya, going to a hypermarket that I very much did not want to go but somehow I went anyway in the end for some unknown reason, going to some random window shopping at a flea market early in the morning in the middle of the rain, and almost getting sick. It wasn’t a particularly eventful weekend… :| Anyway, I’m home now. Time to go back to my routines~ >_>

Also, I now know Pangya Mathemathics~ Calculators aid me towards my ‘hole in one’s~

Another recap of sorts

February 11, 2009

Meh, well, I got back from Ipoh since this Monday and I did not have the unlaziness to make a post. Same for yesterday. In fact, my laziness started from even before I left for Ipoh last week lol.

Then came today and suddenly some cosmic powers made me create a post, so since I’m at it, might as well cover everything I had in mind in a single go…

Me and several classmates of mine went to Klang last Thursday. Was supposed to work on this one certain group assignment for photography where we have to take pictures of a certain commercial product in 5 situations conforming to a similar theme. For what we decided to work on, Klang, the city from where one of my groupmate is from, somehow met all our criterias. So that’s where we went.

Spent the whole day there snapping away until the camera ran out of batterries before we even finished what we were supposed to do. We didn’t have a charger with us so we had to continue some day else. That day has yet to arrive.

The came the trip to Ipoh on Saturday.

The reason for my trip was basically this:

mmm, hazelnut mousse caaaake~~

mmm, hazelnut mousse caaaake~~

Since it’s technically still CNY, I got extra red packets as my birthday present! Btw, my real birthday is still yet ahead so this makes it my second time having another birthday party on a day other than my real birth date this year. ho ho ho~

Then I got home on Monday and I started playing Twelve:

Nothing else special from then on.

Multi closure

August 12, 2008

Quite a number of things ended today.

One of it would be my daily dominance of my home; my mother and sister came back from Ipoh. Wait, I never mentioned about them leaving before did I? Meh whatever, they went back to Ipoh on Saturday last week and I have been the master of the house during the period of their absence, which means I was free to do anything I like, which was nothing, and that’s exactly what I did~ /o/ My father was around too actually but he left for work early and gets back around the evening, so I was the one who had to do most of the chores. Anyway, they got back today and my sense of freedom ended (though I did nothing with that freedom anyway).

I also finished Phantasy Star Portable today technically. I actually finished it at 5am before bed last night but since that’s already in the morning so it’s still technically considered today. Like all the other times I had with other games, the final boss battle caught me by surprise as I didn’t expect the stage I was playing to be the final stage. Thinking that there was still a long way to go, I even just switched my class over to Master Force (its Phantasy Star’s equivalent of second stage mage) briefly before going for the mission so imagine a player character with low str and def facing a final boss, and all the other AI allies never venture far from your side so you HAVE to run right into the final boss and soak up loads of unfiltered damage for them to do anything besides than standing there doing nothing (they do prove to be quite effective meatshields though. But the final boss love beams, which pierces through stuff, so that idea is quite useless in this case) =__= I didn’t really Game Over or anything since my items were pretty well stocked up but still, being ill-equipped and unprepared ensured that it was a loooooooooooooooong and treacherous battle >__> Good thing my character was 20 levels higher than the boss :p And I can’t take screenshots from my PSP anymore from now on thanks to some technical mistake I made D: So… no pictures~

Suddenly it’s college again

June 22, 2008

I am still not clearly informed of what irregularity my grandfather caught aside from it being something from the cancer family but one new update of information I got was that instead of being ‘mid-stage’, it’s ‘end-stage’, so yeah.

And due to several other complications and circumstances, my grandfather will not be going through any surgeries or treatments at all. He’ll only be given painkillers for when necessary and wait for THE DAY. Not good, but there’s nothing more we could do really. Sure reminds me how fragile a human body really is. And all these while, watching anime and playing games and all, I thought humans could fly and read minds and shoot beams from their anus and have OVER NINE THOUSAND HPs and be revived with a bird feather and stuff. …daymn…

Then other stuff happens~ I spent most of my time with my PSP~ finished GTA~ got back home~ and omfg it’s Sunday night already.

ugh…

Here’s a nice song to lighten things up:

AAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAaaaaaAaAaAAaaaaAaaaa

The visit

June 21, 2008

It’s a few hours till we depart on our trip back to Ipoh. It’s just a one day thing so I will be back by some time tomorrow… probably evening… then it’s back to college again the day after that orz Meh, whatever.

Anyway~

That’s my favourite Shintani Ryouko song~ been almost a year since it was first released and it still is~
